It is of great importance to note that it is not all the ladies out there dating married men are guilty as charged. What do I mean? Some ladies are victims in some of these cases because they have no knowledge that the man they are with is a married man. These men lie about their marital status just to have the young lady. Therefore it is important that we take about this today so as a lady you can reevaluate your relationship and be sure you are not coming in between an unfaithful husband and his faithful wife.
In life there two types of cheating husbands. Understanding each category will help you understand this situation well.
The first set is those who claim to love their wife but still want to go about sleeping with any available lady. Even if they want to go about sleeping with a particular girl by pretending they are single or sleeping with as many girls as possible the bottom line for these kinds of men is that they do all they can to hide the relationship from their wife and as many people as they can and mostly the lady they are lying to about their relationship or marital status.
The second set is those who most likely are tired of their marriage and go about cheating. This set of persons don’t care if they are caught or not. Well, these set most times don’t hide it that they are married. They will tell you they are married and are looking at leaving their wife for you. Whether that is true or not it is best known to them. In this case, the lady involved is fully aware she is a side chick.
In today’s post we will focus majorly on the first set of men I described above because they are the ones that will make you a side chick as a lady without your knowledge whereas you will be thinking you have found the one for you. Therefore what are some of these signs that he could be married?
1. He avoids telling you his full names
Most men that cheat and don’t want to be caught will hide their full identity from you. They tell you their first name and won’t tell you their other names. When you press on to know their other names they will lie to you about it because they know that as we are in a technologically advanced world that it is very easy to know a person’s marital status and other information with little online research. These types of men won’t tell you the truth about who they really are and will try to sell the idea that knowing them is a gradual process. You can date these men for years and still not know what they actually do for a living. Some of them are very smart and cover their tracks very well.
2. He keeps you out of sight
Some men who want to date you but don’t want people to see two of you together in the name of not wanting their personal life out in the public are probably lying to you. In one of my YouTube videos where I discussed 3 different kinds of relationships, I explained that it is possible to want to have a private relationship but it is very dangerous to be in a secret relationship. These two types of relationships are not the same at all. You can check out the video and learn more. The point here is that this type of man keeps you away from almost everyone except his fellow men that cheat too.

3. He lacks in the area of commitment
Men who are cheating on their wives will find it very hard to commit to you. This is because they are committed to someone else. They never talk about the future with you. They avoid such talks because they don’t want to be caught in the web of commitment. Some who are deceptive will talk about the future just to get you comfortable but if you take your time to observe, you will discover that his actions contradict his words. He tells you one thing but goes ahead to do another thing. He says a lot of things about the future but never takes any action step toward it. Always giving one excuse from the other.
4. He never introduces you to any of his family members
If you are currently dating any man and you don’t know his parents, you don’t know his siblings and they all don’t know you in return then you are most likely dating a married man or you might be dating a guy who has another lady in his life he is more serious with. This means he is just playing around with you. The truth about men is that they don’t hide the real woman in their life if they are truly in love with her. If as of now you don’t know any member of the family or the person you are in a relationship with then you are setting yourself up for a premium heartbreak.
5. He never invites you over to his house and will never allow you to visit him
Well, knowing where the love of your life lives is a wise thing to know. As a godly relationship advocate, I am not saying you should go over to his house and fall into the temptation of marathon sex. It is advised to meet in the open just to prevent that but then that doesn’t mean you should never visit him at all. You should know where your man is living and you should be free to visit anytime you want (but not a sleepover). If a man is hiding his residence away from you, prefers meeting in hotels and any other place but never his house then he is most likely married or has another woman. Some might rent a new apartment to pretend it is his home but then this is not the only way to know if he is married or not which is why you need to check out the next sign.
6. He doesn’t answer calls from 8 pm (Family time)
It could be 8 pm it could earlier or later. The point is that he is never comfortable taking your call at night. I call this family time because at this time he is done with his days’ work and most probably spending time with his wife and kids. Therefore to avoid suspicious acts, he tells you he is tired and doesn’t want to talk or many other possible excuses to avoid his wife catching him. Another thing you would observe is that he suddenly changes topic because maybe at that time his wife or kid walks into the room and he hurriedly ends the call. So it is required of you to be very observant of these phone call behaviors.
7. He won’t invite out to public events or functions
Just like we mentioned in point two, in this case, he never invites you to attend any function with him. It is normal for people in a relationship who are not in a long-distance relationship to go to events, weddings, office parties, etc. together. It’s a way of spending time together and bonding as a couple but then if he never invites you to any of this function and makes excuses all the time you try to invite him for a program or event then he is probably hiding something from you and most likely married and don’t want people to see you together.
8. There is something like a wedding band lines on his ring finger
Most men that cheat take off their wedding ring so it won’t give them away. Well, one thing about this wedding band is that it leaves a mark on the ring finger. If you are able to observe this and notice that it looks like a ring used to be there then it’s a sign he could be married. Some will try to lie and cover it up with stories like they just love wearing rings and the like. For you, as a lady, this is the time you need to now be very observant and watch out for most of the things I have mentioned above and will still mention below.
9. Your instincts tell you that he could be married
Well, sometimes all you need to do is to trust your instincts. It could be your mind telling you to be watchful and it can also be the Holy Spirit ministering to you to do the needful. And what is the needful? You either confront him or you take your time to observe him or do further research to know if he is really single or married and if you find out he is married then you walk away.
10. He is majorly interested in have sex with you more than any other thing
Although this could apply to single guys who just want to have sex and use you as a tool for sexual satisfaction, it can apply to married men too. They are just interested in sex. All the conversation you have is about sex or money. They never have any serious talk with you. Never try to see you get better. They just want to spend the money on you and have sex with you. So it’s very important you watch out for guys pressuring you to have sex with them because a good percentage of infidelity in marriages is sex-related. What I mean by this is that you hardly find a person who is cheating and not having sex with who they are cheating with.
